The April Trip East

April 22 thru May 4, 2003

"A LOT of miles and a LOT of fun!"

Made a swing east in what has become an annual trip for us. We made the usual stop in Los Alamos, NM (Lisa & Gene's) but this time stopped in Amarillo, TX to welcome Kev, Lisa, Cat and Kyle to the west. On to Indy to Craig and Steph's for what will likely be our last trip this southern route and on to Rome City, IN to Scott and Peg's. Tired of driving yet. We were.

While at Scott and Peg's we had a chance to spend time with great grandsons Austin and Dylan. Yea that's Peg watch'n out for them.

Scott had to show off his new platform boat as well.
>

Swung north through Michigan to visit the Hargraves for a couple of days to help bring a new computer on line. Looks like those Las Vegas show girls followed us home!

A final parting shot of the Hargraves in the computer room showing off "Jewel", the new machine.
<

Never escape without one shot of their grandson Matthew Jacob, Well done Mike and Chris.

A "have to" stop on any eastern swing is to see our buddy Isabel in Fort Wayne. If Gene Keady had any idea what a Purdue fan he has in Fort Wayne, she would have courtside seats for every game. Go Boilers!
No way to include all we saw and did. I was a fun trip that included a second stop in Amarillo on the way back to check out Kev and Lisa's new digs. More on that later. A fun trip but GREAT to get home.
