"I'm a BIG boy" and "Kev &
Lisa's New Digs "
| We
combined the chance to celebrate Sean first birthday bash in Los
Alamos, NM with the chance to check out Kev, Lisa, Cat and Kyle's
new digs in Amarillo, TX. We showed up a little early to give
Gene and Lisa a chance to get out on their bikes for some training
rides. Gave us time for some serious baby spoiling and we took
full advantage. |

quick look at THE cake advertising that our Sean turned the big
ONE. He is not sure what all the hubbub is all about, but loving
the attention. |
| "I
can do this sis, stand back". Our Sean zeros in on getting
his pile of loot open so he can PLAY. Actually he wasn't sure
what the excitement was all about, but hung right in there opening
the boxes. |

Finally
had to take a close look at Lisa & Gene's rolling motel room.
Complete with ice box, kinda running water and gas cooking stove.

pendants proudly flying. You bet I'm from Texas, and Kev can say

So
much happened that never got captured in pictures. The awesome
musical in the canyon amphitheater depicting the settling of
the high plains. The show was complete with civil war battles,
Indian wars and covered wagons. The wrap up was a huge fireworks
display. We dined the next night at the BIG Texan where the
"shtick" is a "free" 72 oz. steak dinner
if you can eat it in one hour. A young fellow collected while
we were there, but didn't look like he felt all that happy with
winning. A fun trip and time.
