Las Vegas Adventure

February 4 thru 6, 2003

"Chris & Phil, you guys are going where?"

Got this call from some of our oldest and dearest friends saying they had set up a trip to Las Vegas and wondering how far it was from Phoenix and could we meet them there. We were packed and on our way in a heart beat. Well maybe after a little planning, but quick anyway.
I know there are a lot of folk viewing this asking who the "old guys" are with the show girls here in Las Vegas. I think it is in the water. The gals just glamorous up by walking around. Here we are at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino.
Here we have two "cool" folks waiting for the Fountains of Bellagio to do their thing. Turns out you need to check the wind and where you stand, right guys? We sprinted in different directions and didn't meet up until after.
More of those show girls standing around with Phil. Here we are at the Club Reo with their monorail stages. None of the girls threw me a necklace Phil!
Never got a picture to show here of the hit of the trip, Mystere by Cirque Du Soleil. This proved to be one of the most spectacular and entertaining shows in town, and that is saying something in Las Vegas. It is hard to describe. It is a musically choreographed exhibition of gymnastics and athleticism, the likes of which I have never seen. Part circus, part stage show, but all entertaining.
