The Ridenours Visit Fort Wayne
"Good Weather and Fun"
October
22nd thru 30th, 2000

Rick,
Lora and Adam showed up on Saturday and it was like moving into
the eye of a cyclone. Adam wanted outside at every opportunity
and investigated everything...at a dead run. Here dad and Adam
built a huge pile of leaves for jumping and throwing. Adam put
a whole new meaning to the description, "all boy", and
done with a smile that captures your heart. |
| Adam
discovered Aunt Lisa's keyboard in his travels and a musician
was born. He actually made some noises that sounded good. Guess
grandpa and grandma know what he needs for Christmas. |
 |
 |
After
close to 20 years in Fort Wayne, grandpa finally made it to Science
Central. Here Adam absolutely fell in love with the water cannon
and tank. There is something about being able to spray water around
that fascinates the little ones. The spray tank flowed into a
trough that could be dammed in various configurations with floating
items of all shapes and sizes. Grandpa had fun too! |
| The
SUPER maze captured Adam's interest and tested his climbing skills.
Yep, that is good ole mom there in the background to make sure
no problems developed. |
 |
 |
Last,
but far from least was a chance to examine your hands in a contour
of nails. Adam thought this was slick.
|
|
Before
anyone starts thinking that Adam was the only one that got involved
in the "experiments" at Science Central, here is a
shot of our Lora about to test the laws of gravity and friction.
Grandma is right there cheering her on. That slide drops two
stories into the basement in one heck of a hurry.
A
fun day was had by all.

The
weekend found us at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo with Craig,
Stephanie and Emily. Naturally that gave us two Pooh Bears for
the festivities and a corner on the "cute" market.
A
well organized alternative to old fashion begging which the
little ones enjoyed.

A
final shot of brother Craig and his sister Lora with our Emily
and Adam.
A
GREAT week and fun time!
