A busy 6th grade school year closes and the busy summer starts. This is the school picture from the spring of 2003. We had a chance to see Kaity play some awesome games of basketball this year. The ref only gave me a bad time once for questioning a call (or lack thereof), and I learned to disagree quietly there after. Something about whistles and stripes shirts were available for "volunteers" but I didn't catch all the details. Add to that seeing our Kaity finish among the front runners of well over 60 racers in crosscountry and you can gets some idea how exciting those races can be. All that and a top scholar in her classes. This is one talented young lady. |

It is hard
to believe how quickly Kaity has grown from a "cute" little
girl to a lovely young lady. I don't see any cure for the string of broken
hearts this beauty is going to leave in her wake. Look out guys!
This "school picture" was taken in the fall of 1999 when Kaity was in the 3rd grade. Another in the "grandma's fridge door" collection. Let me put this fall 2002 picture in perspective for everyone. Kaity is a doll of a shooting guard for her school's basketball team and tall for her age. Yea, Nick is that tall. |
